I’ve been sewing for 45 years and found my sewing home in the world of quilting just over a decade ago.
From my very first tentative go at cutting out my fabric for my first quilt (terrifying!) to stitching up my first block, I have never looked back.
I’ve since completed and passed my City and Guilds Level 3 in Patchwork and Quilting, and ran a high street shop in my local town where I taught everything from beginners patchwork to advanced quilting techniques for two years before the crippling costs of running a high street shop got the better of me. Quite honestly, I was heartbroken: it was something I truly loved and I had made many amazing friends from my customers.
A year ago, after some vigorous prompting, nudging and various kicks up the rear from my husband and a couple of close friends, I came back to the world that I love the most, and this time doing nothing but teaching. I do hope you’ll join me on this incredible journey and let me help YOU get started with this wonderful hobby.
Love,
Kim
